Non-Binary & Gender Diverse Folks
I am deeply committed to working with non-binary and gender-expansive folks, including those who are Two-Spirit, trans, agender, genderfluid, genderqueer or exploring their relationship to gender in ways that don’t fit into "traditional" categories.
I also want to acknowledge that many gender-diverse identities are not new, and did not originate within Western frameworks. Across cultures, including many Indigenous communities, people have long held roles and identities beyond binary understandings of gender. While I approach this work with respect and humility, I honor these legacies and the ways they continue to shape how people understand themselves today.
Many of my clients are navigating a world that doesn’t operate with their experiences in mind. You might be exploring how your gender intersects with your sexuality, working through dysphoria or body disconnection, renegotiating intimacy in ways that feel affirming, or seeking language for desires and identities that don’t fit neatly into existing boxes.
This is a space where you don’t have to explain or justify who you are. Your identity is respected here, and your experience is enough.
In our work together, we can explore desire, pleasure, arousal, dysphoria and euphoria, communication, boundaries, relationships, and embodiment with an affirming and collaborative approach. We can also make room for conversations about navigating partners, dating, medical or social transitions (if relevant to you), and the impact of societal norms on your sense of self, identity, and sexuality.
There is no “right” way to experience gender, desire, or intimacy. Therapy can be a place to experiment, define what feels true for you, and build relationships (with yourself and others) that feel more grounded, connected, and affirming.
However you identify (or if that’s still unfolding) you are welcome here.
